This is a craft experience to learn about the idea of the twelve “colors” worn by the Japanese princess “Saio,” who once lived in Saiku, and the “hemp” associated with the god “Changhaku Hajime” of Take-jinja Shrine. The work I created will be part of Take-jinja Shrine's installation art. It includes an official visit to Take-jinja Shrine and a meal as a direct meeting.

      Please note

        ・In case of rain, some programs will be changed and implemented. In case of bad weather, it will be canceled.

        What to bring

          Drinks during the program until meals

          ・We will officially visit the shrine in an installation art space specially set up at Take Shrine.

          ・You can also participate in art works. Art works made by myself will be displayed inside the shrine.

          ・At Japanese shrines, you can learn about the traditional culture of “hemp” and “color.”

          ・After visiting the shrine, enjoy a meal arranged between food from the Heian period and a shrine offered by the gods.
