Heian Dynasty Culture and Twelfth Dressing Experience Plan (with lunch and tea time)
・You can rent out a place that recreates a special Heian period building and experience wearing a flat bundle at lunch・You can enjoy Japanese French beautifully arranged on pottery designed by the chef himself who has been listed in the Michelin Guide ・A photographer will be attached to the shooting
On this unique Heian period (794-1185) cultural tour near Ise-jingu Shrine, it's an experience of wearing the costume of a single emperor called Saio, who was “forgotten,” which was not even listed in textbooks. You can simulate the life of a Japanese emperor in the 10th century, long before the samurai class appeared. The highlight of the tour is that you can enjoy entertainment from the Heian period by wearing an expensive 12-single kimono, and it takes place in a building that faithfully recreates cultural assets that were once part of the Saigu Palace. There are 2 costumes in total: 2 for women and 1 for men.
A special lunch made with local ingredients at the creative French restaurant RYU is included.
・Visit the Saigu Historical Museum, a nationally designated historic site, and the Saio system (a system where unmarried emperors lived in Honcho in place of the emperor and prayed for the well-being of Japan at Ise-jingu Shrine). You will be asked to imagine Saigu in a bustling era.
・For lunch, enjoy the Japanese French lunch (or Saio Bento “Saio's Treasure Chest)” in the Ise area to your heart's content.
・After lunch, take a picture of changing into flat clothes in a restored Heian period Saiku dormitory building. You can also experience games from the Heian period (mixed play and double board), etc.
・The shooting costume is an authentic flat mount (12 for women, straight bow for men) Rent out the restored Saiku dormitory building and take photos for the rest of your life.
・Afterwards, a special visit (with a special goshuin) at the “Tadashi Shrine” within a nationally designated historic site. After feeling refreshed, enjoy special Japanese sweets and Ise tea inspired by Saigu and Saio and the seasons at “Minoriya” in front of Minoriya Shrine.
